Chorizo Tacos with VerMex Chorizo

Turn up the flavor with our Chorizo Tacos with Vermex Chorizo, featuring perfectly seasoned, sizzling chorizo wrapped in warm tortillas for an authentic and irresistible bite.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb VerMex chorizo (meat removed from casing)
  • 8 Small corn or flour tortillas
  • 3 oz. Mozzarella
  • 3 oz. White onion, finely chopped
  • 1 Tbsp Olive oil
  • Chopped cilantro
  • 2 oz. Spicy sauce
  • Optional toppings: lime wedges, diced avocado

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the VerMex chorizo meat and cook, breaking it up with a spatula, until browned and fully cooked, about 7–10 minutes.
  2. In the same skillet, sauté the onion with the chorizo for 2–3 minutes until soft and fragrant.
  3. Warm the tortillas in a separate pan or on a griddle.
  4. Fill each tortilla with the chorizo mixture.
  5. Top with onion and cilantro
  6. Serve with spicy sauce and optional lime or avocado.
