El Bori Chorizo Rice

Bring the vibrant flavors of Puerto Rico to your table with El Bori Chorizo Rice, a savory, colorful dish infused with perfectly seasoned chorizo and bold island spices in every bite.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb El Bori Chorizo, cut in chunks 
  • 2 Cups Rice
  • 3 Cups Chicken broth
  • ½ Onion, chopped
  • 2 Garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 Tbsp Sofrito
  • Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. Brown the El Bori chorizo in a pot; remove and set aside.
  2. In the same pot, sauté onion and garlic. Stir in sofrito.
  3. Add rice and mix well.
  4. Pour in broth and return chorizo to the pot.
  5. Cook until liquid is absorbed, cover, and simmer on low for 15–20 minutes.
  6. Fluff and serve.
